We are delighted that you are considering Membership in the Garden Club of Montclair. Please email Tova Narrett, our Membership VP. She will contact you, and answer any and all questions you have. In the meantime, read "In the News" or noodle around this website to get an idea of what we are up to.
Your First Year: Opportunities to Participate
To welcome you to the Club, we make sure to assign you an experienced and knowledgeable "mentor". Your mentor will join you at meetings and social events, and provide you with information, encouragement, and guidance.
We want you to love the club as much as we do! So for your first year's orientation, we've curated a wide-ranging menu of
activities for you to sample. These are:

Attend a program and two of our workshops.

Volunteer twice in Avis Campbell Gardens and once in the Church Street gardens, bringing beauty to life.

Work once in the community with our Garden Therapy Committee.

Flex your creativity as you enter two different (unjudged) competitions in flower design, horticultural specimens, or botanical arts.
Dues: $100. Applications are accepted throughout the year.

Provisionals are encouraged to attend all program meetings and workshops where they will get to know and be greeted by our members. If you already have a special interest you are welcome to join that committee.
