Never Forget

On this sad day of remembrance for our town and the whole country, the following photos show how the Avis Campbell Committee has been working this year to upgrade the 9/11 Memorial in the gardens. The new replacement granite bench was installed, and several new perennials were planted, including hellebores, brunneras, pulmonarias, hydrangeas, Lily Turfs, and Angel Wings.  

The stone was originally funded by Member Ann Johnson and her husband Tom in memory of their son Scott who was killed in the attack. To this day, Tom wears a safety pin with the American flag.
